1. Inward Remittance Payment
Beneficiaries (remittance receivers) can receive cash payments or have funds deposited into their accounts, sent by their loved ones or relatives through various remittance companies from different parts of the world.
To receive the payment, beneficiaries are required to submit the following documents at their nearest NBL branch or listed sub-agent:
a. **Secret Key or PIN Code** provided by the sender; and
b. **Valid identification document** issued by the Government of Nepal (such as Citizenship Certificate, Driving License, National Identity Card, etc.) for identity verification.
2. Domestic Remittance
Customers can send money from their nearest NBL branch to any location within Nepal on a real-time basis. Once the remittance transaction is processed, the sender will receive a **Secret Key**.
The beneficiary can receive the money instantly from any NBL branch by submitting:
a. **Secret Key** provided by the sender; and
b. **Valid identification document** issued by the Government of Nepal (such as Citizenship Certificate, Driving License, National Identity Card, etc.) for identity verification.
3. Money2India
Indian nationals working in Nepal can send money to India, which will be directly deposited into the beneficiary's bank account through the **Money2India** arrangement of Nepal Bank Limited, in coordination with ICICI Bank, subject to the regulations and directives of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the Central Bank of Nepal.
4. SWIFT Transfers
a. Inward Transfers
Nepalese individuals or institutions can receive money sent through **SWIFT** to their accounts with Nepal Bank from anywhere in the world.
The sender is required to provide:
* Nepal Bank's SWIFT Code: **NEBLNPKA**
* Beneficiary's correct account name and account number
* Valid and lawful source and purpose of funds, where required for large-value transactions
The beneficiary is required to provide:
* **Self-Declaration** confirming the beneficiary's name, purpose, and legality of the remittance.
b. Outward Transfers
Nepalese citizens can send money abroad to India or other countries for purposes such as **college fees, living expenses, health coverage, or medical treatment**, with the funds deposited into the account of the concerned person or institution, subject to the regulations and directives of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the Central Bank of Nepal.
